It's 1:32 in the morning. I open Blogspot.com. I create a blog. I click on write an article. And here I am typing these words.
I've always loved writing and blogging, I had so many blogs in the past but kept none. I always have this problem of getting so much excited about something in the beginning and then eventually ending up losing all my thrill and excitement.
There are so many things I want to write about. So many different ideas are simultaneously appearing in my mind but I am mentally not ready to write about any of them at the moment. However, there is something which is topping my list of things-happening-in-my-life and which is the fact that I started a whole new phase in my life: work.
I finished my studies exactly a month ago. After an agitated phase of internships-hunting, I ended up grabbing this amazing opportunity at the leader online mall in Morocco. Contrary to a big number of my peers at university, nobody helped me join this company, and my admission was a mere consequence of my very strong persistence, from sending one of the most original motivational letters to my 3-hour-interview with two different people.
But what makes me feel even more grateful is the fact that I am working with my best friend. May I first inform you all that final-year-internships are the most decisive ones in any final-year-student's curricular and professional careers. In Morocco, all students have to individually spend 4 to 6-month-internships on which they base their thesis to eventually defend it in front of a set of professors.
What you need to remember from the previous paragraph is the fact that final-year-students are required to do their internships individually. But all what you can expect from two best friends is obviously breaking the rules! And oh yes, thanks to our perseverance and insistence to stay with each other, not drift apart and continue living our dream, we applied together and ended up proudly establishing ourselves among the existing Marketing team.
I am very satisfied with my current work. It's more of a work than an internship. Everyone is treated similarly and is equally important. And that's what makes me feel fortunate and happy. My work consists of community management, driving the growth of online marketing and elaborating innovative and creative e-marketing ideas. And since I am a passionate admirer of the world of Marketing, waking up at 8 AM is no more a nightmare but a motivation to give the best out of me.
